The default
The Company Engagement Report in Campaign Manager shows which companies are engaging with your ads, and how much.
LinkedIn Campaign Manager
What the Standard adds
Filter to ICP fit, then rank by how many people and roles engaged over time. Check the CRM before sales touches anything. Open deals go to their owner, customers to their account manager, new accounts to SDRs.
Why it holds
Outreach on a single signal reaches good accounts at the wrong moment, and an SDR pitching an account that's mid-deal embarrasses everyone. Context turns a signal into a reason to reach out.
When it matters less
For a short account list with one owner, the Company Engagement Report can be enough on its own to brief sales.
Decision triggers
Spot it, then act on it.
| You see | Do this |
|---|---|
| One visit, or one intent spike | Watch list, until more signals follow. |
| Two or more people in different roles at one account, back for pricing or case studies | Top of this week's list, with who engaged and what they read. |
| A warm account with an open deal | Send it to the deal owner. Keep SDRs off it. |
What experts say
Where people in the field stand on it.
-
Count companies on your list, not clicks or people. My default line is 10 or more paid engagements in 30 days, or 3 plus a second signal, and a company with an open deal goes to the deal owner. When someone writes, they name the public signal, never the ad, the click or the visit.
Bogdan Liutic CR8 -
Yes, big fan. We report the list of engaged companies weekly for sales to follow up.
Ivars Krutainis Otter -
This is how I run LinkedIn Ads with outbound. Ad engagement decides which accounts outbound reaches next, and accounts with an open deal go to the deal owner, not to an SDR.

You can also cross-reference titles in your demographics report to give sales a list of priority titles who are likely to have seen the ads. If you're giving contacts, you can research whether they're active on LinkedIn, what they post about, and whether they've been on any podcasts or panels, so sales has more openers.

Run it
Run the check in one go.
-
From signal to sales Weekly
Warm-lead handoff
Turns engagement from LinkedIn ads, the website and the CRM into a short list of who sales should call this week.
-
From signal to sales Weekly + monthly
Signal loop
Runs the weekly routine for LinkedIn ads that go only to a list of named target companies, so a person knows which companies to write to this week and why now. It never sends or changes anything.
-
From signal to sales On demand
Turn social signals into pipeline
Turns people who engaged with LinkedIn posts (a competitor’s, a topic’s, or your own company page’s) into two company-level lists: companies for sales review and companies for nurture. It sends nothing and looks no one up.

Building the account Once, days 7 to 14
LinkedIn Campaign Early Read
A first read on one LinkedIn campaign 7 to 14 days after launch, before conversions exist: is it delivering as expected, is it reaching the right companies and people, who is engaging with the ads and on your site, and which accounts are worth acting on now. It only recommends and changes nothing.
-
Building the account Daily to monthly
Account audit by cadence
Runs eight account checks on a schedule, so a LinkedIn Ads specialist knows what to fix today, this week and this month.
-
Who the budget reaches Weekly + monthly
Targeting vs who actually buys
Compares who each campaign paid to reach with the people on your deals, and moves budget toward the profiles that buy.
-
Who the budget reaches Every 1 to 2 weeks
Company-level account routing
Shows which companies take most of the impressions, which are underserved, and which to prioritize or move into their own audience.
-
Who the budget reaches Daily, then weekly
LinkedIn fit gate + daily fit check
Grades a prospecting campaign by the companies it actually reached against your ICP, then says pass, run one more week, or rebuild. Runs daily after launch to catch new fails and leaked exclusions.
-
Ads and creative Weekly
Weekly check for conversion campaigns
Judges every Lead Gen Form and Message ad against your goal cost per lead: which ads to pause, which winners to copy into new versions, and what to check when every ad in an ad set is expensive. It gives recommendations to approve and changes nothing.
